Austin King
Hello,
My name is Austin King and I'm a CFII (Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument) in the Sacramento area (Rancho Cordova). I began my aviation journey in 2022 after realizing I wanted to make a career change at 27 years old. I didn't know a thing about airplanes, flight training, schools, certificates, etc.
I jumped on the internet and started researching the steps to take and started by taking my written exam. After that, I called a local flight school and started training. Through this process, I've learned a lot about flight schools, Part 61 vs. 141, instructors, communication, networking, etc. I want the lessons and hardships I went through to be used so that others won't have to go through the same thing.
I always told myself, "When I become an instructor, I'm going to be the instructor I wish I had". I now want to take that a step further and be the mentor I wish I had. I want to give future pilots a safe place to ask questions, get advice, and trust that the answers will be what's best for their future. Join me for flight training.
